As a vital support for SAHS, the St. Anthony High School Foundation organization has been re-established, with a new Board of Directors. In seeking to secure the future of the school, this has been a goal for many over the past several years. Operating as an independent entity, the Foundation will enable development of new sources of funding for the school, providing a secure base for growth.

Articles of Incorporation will be revised to reflect SA's change in status from Parish to Archdiocesan high school. A Foundation bank account will be opened, enabling the Board to provide audited financials in order to qualify for awards from new funding sources.

LETTER TO SAHS ALUMNI FROM FOUNDATION PRESIDENT FRANK KASPAR '47:

Our version of the SAHS Foundation is barely six months old, having been resurrected out of the remains of the original Foundation formed in 1973 and disbanded around 1986. Our purpose is to support the school in multiple ways. It is very rewarding to see SAHS come back so strongly after nearly falling into bankruptcy. The entire plant is undergoing refurbishment; new Labs for Science and Computing will be joined by a new Library and Chapel. Student enrollment for the new freshman class is already twice what the current graduating senior class is! I would like to see our dedicated, committed, enthusiastic SAHS Alumni come back into the school and help us with our mission. Interested alumni may wish to sit in as guests at FOUNDATION BOARD MEETING, JUNE 8, 2006, 5:30 p.m., SAHS Bldg. B, (upper level). Most of all we need SAHS Alumni to join us in our efforts to restore St. Anthony High School campus to where it was in its glorious past!
